It was a fantastic day to shoot florals. There was a thin layer of clouds allowing the light to disperse over the land. This allowed for nice gradual shadows to appear and not the stark shadows you see with bright sunlight.
In any case, a bee landing one a flower while I was shooting is wonderful opportunity to take advantage of. It’s very challenging to shoot a bee in motion, so when this happens it’s a gift. The early spring rose was perfect, and the succulent was different.
Altogether, it was a wonderful day to shoot florals.
